willing, committed, daring, fierce, strong, agile.

Keila was born and raised in Orange County, California. As a young performer, she began her training at Pacific Dance in Irvine, California. A recreational hobby soon became a passion as she continued to dance competitively and eventually graduate from the Commercial Dance Department of the Orange County School of the Arts as a member of the National Honor Society.

Keila’s passion for dance led her to complete dual Bachelor of Arts Degrees; in both Integrated Educational Studies (Emphasis of Teaching and Learning in Schools) and Dance Performance, with a Minor in Psychology. She graduated with both Cum Laude Latin Honors and Chancellor’s List Honors from Chapman University as a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and a Dean’s Scholarship recipient.

In accordance with her degree, Keila shared her time between her mutual loves of teaching and dancing. She was an active faculty member of Pacific Dance and Artegy Dance Academy as well as a parade performer at the Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure. She also worked for Disney Cruise Line and soon after, pursued dancing full time and moved to New York City.

Keila instantly fell in love with the energy of the city. Within her first year of New York living, she signed with Clear Talent Group, became a member of the Actor’s Equity Association, and joined the ensemble of the Broadway Revival North American Tour of Miss Saigon.

“My mission is to continue growing as an artist. Whether that is in live performance, on film, on tour, on a Broadway stage, I want to do it all. I want the opportunity to do it all. I want to continue learning more about myself and my craft and inspire others to do the same.”
